This is pretty small, but occasionally when I go to another person's profile my 'social' tab will be highlighted and will say I have something in my inbox. It stays highlighted if I leave the user's page and say I still have a message, but when I go there I'll have received nothing. It's a bit annoying and only happens when I go to a user's profile page. Is there any explanation for this or is it just my computer being weird?

I've noticed that the Inbox stays lit up after I accept/deny a friend request, and I have to visit the inbox again to make it go away. By chance are you receiving friend requests when this happens...?

I don't see anything at quick glance on your account that'd be lighting up the Social tab at this very moment. Obviously, it can change as you receive an actual notification. =P

I also am not sure of any reason a user's profile specifically would do anything at all to light it up. Is it just the user profile pages? Or any page that uses the old layout? Such as Hatchery, Pet Profiles, etc.


And as Somneli mentioned, there is an issue with that that's been around for years. But just reloading the Social page after accepting/declining a Friend request makes it go away.

I don't go on the other old layouts much, so the glitch might include those or it might not, since I haven't been on them enough to really know. I've also noticed, and I'm not sure whether or not this clarifies anything, that the user is always online when the glitch happens.
