When you nurture sylestis, is there a small chance you could get and essence? I have been reading that everywhere and it hasn't happened to me yet, so I want to know if it's true.

Yes, it's true. Here's a record I've been keeping with the drop rates I've had over the past year or so. On average I get one every 5k-6k nurtures, though some are closer together and others are farther apart.
