(Sorry I took so long!!)

The laboratory was in a buzz when the first specimen escaped. It was in a rage by the time half of the rest got out. Things weren't going well, and very few of the projects were captured during the sudden event. One specifically didn't move from his cell, instead watching the others run by without so much as batting an eye at him. He didn't care. It wasn't that important to him. Freedom was something he knew he would never get- even out there in that jungle beyond the perimeter walls. He watched them run, satisfied enough.

Two days after the major escape, the "obedient" experiments were to hunt down and find any other projects they could. Each wore a special collar to keep them from running off. As they were released, that silent, yet strangely intimidating experiment was set loose to hunt them down. A mixture of things- a panther, a coywolf, and a fox. With a body of a panther, the strength of a coywolf, and the wits and longer fur of a fox, he was among the strongest. Nicknamed "Lucifer", for his fierce temper and for his number- 667. One unit less and he'd be the devil himself, some scientists said. However, he was mostly obedient, only lashing out when provoked.

Lucifer was quite the silent type, stalking the jungle with the intent of further aiding creatures' escapes rather than thwarting them. The scientists didn't know. How could they? Their technology hadn't reached that far yet- not even in this era. He strode quietly along the jungle floor, his broad, black shoulders rising and falling in rythym. His red eyes watched in silence for any movement, and his tail swung evenly behind him. Silently, he paused, his ears flicking slightly at the sound of rustling bushes. The studded collar about his neck seemed to constrict slightly, as if commanding him to attack whatever it was in the bushes. He held perfectly still, however, as if making sure it were an experiment.

Lucifer hadn't necessarily been frightened by the rabbit- it was simply something he always did- to pause and detect. However, his ears swiveled backward, and he turned around, facing the area the taunt had come from. He watched as some creature that definitely wasn't a normal animal decided to try to flutter away. An instant later, he was quickly climbing a tree, growling softly.

(that's a bad idea no)

Lucifer didn't seem to hear, rather he was in the tree in an instant, quickly crossing trees and catching up with the smaller creature.

Lucifer made a leap to see if he could grab the experiment, closing his jaws just inches from the little thing, but the attempt was futile. He fell back to the forest floor, easily avoiding getting injured, but letting out a small huff. Oh well.

((currently? probably.))

As the creature taunted him, Lucifer huffed. She underestimated his strategy. He was mostly just a distraction. If an animal could smile, he would be doing so. As the little creature taunted, something came speeding toward it from above, talons outstretched to grab her. It dove with seemingly lightning speed, grabbing her and heading for the ground, keeping a good grip on its hostage. A peregrine falcon- like creature. The size of an Andean Condor, with the looks of the peregrine falcon, and the cackling laugh of a hyena. "You should really thing before you speak!" The creature cackled, holding tight to its prey as it sped toward the ground.

((does that answer your question? lol))
