"Well, well, well!" A voice bellowed from behind you as you entered the small cavern. Standing there was a strange humanoid. They wore a traveler's garb, but they in no way seemed the type to travel. They chuckled. "It looks like I have a visitor. And who might you be, young adventurer?" They seemed friendly, but there was something foreboding about the way they smiled. Fangs replaced their teeth, and their eyes carried a menacing glare. All at once they had leaped upon you, knocking you to the ground with an inhuman hiss. Everything went black.
When you finally woke up, you found yourself encased in what looked to be a glass room. You were in the cave, seemingly deeper inside. The same creature that had assaulted you before was now circling the cage, watching you with some sort of malicious grin. "Well, look who's awake! Sorry about the rough greeting. Had to make sure you couldn't get away. My name is Viatorem. I'm a Rac'so- an evil spirit, basically. And you..." They grinned, stalking up to one of the glass walls and drawing a clawed finger across it. "You're my new friend. Stay alive long enough and I might let you go." They chuckled, then turned and left. A tail swayed behind them, long and whiplike. And, behind them, two ghostly wings faded in and out of reality. You weren't actually sure if you were seeing them or not.
Well, now you're stuck. What're you going to do? Anything? Of course not. You're stuck. Unless... Unless you want to try escaping.
