The average length of a play in Elizabethan England was 3000 lines. With 1,787 lines and 14,369 words, The Comedy of Errors is the shortest Shakespearean play (based on the first edition of The Riverside Shakespeare, 1974).

Very nice on the detail. Was just looking for the name of that particular play. "The Comedy Of Errors", but I do like that you went the extra mile and gave a bit more information about that. Very nice. Your name has been entered twice into the drawing for the end of the week. Way to go!
