Sorry to bother you folks when you're so busy, but I encountered a problem with an avatar item that I got from a Retired Item chest in Winter Wonderland. It's this item--



You see, I already have that item--got it years ago. Which would be fine, except the Ice Mage's Familiar (Peppermint Twist) is not tradeable. This doesn't seem right; I essentially got nothing from that part of the Winter Wonderland, which is an expensive thing to run through. Could you please either make it tradeable or give me a different retired item? Or something?

I completely rewrote the Retired Avatar Item script from scratch to add more logic into it. The odds of getting specific items is the same, however, some intelligence went into it so that it no longer awards a No Trade item if the player already has said item in their Inventory or Wardrobe.

I also cleaned up the script and condensed all of the Retired Avatar Items into one single script; previously, they all had their own script even though they all did the same thing.

I also sent you another box so you can redo that one opening.

For the extra No Trade item, there's nothing you can do with it but sell it via your Inventory.

Somewhat related question I guess, I got a Companion Teddy (Saint Nick), I believed it was from the Advents Calendar, but were there retired item boxes in that? I can't remember, but I apparently already had it in my Wardrobe and now as I'm trying to sell avatar stuff from the winter festival off, I realize that it can't be traded. Seems a little bit of a shame to get non-tradeable items from the Advents Calendar (because of their heavy limitation), unless of course this was a previously available one. Or is this a bug and I should be able to trade it?

That item was just handed out again this year it looks like.

There is nothing that can be done with it but just sell the extra copy back to the Site.

I will try to prevent such a thing next year from happening. This year got really crazy for me during the holidays.

It's OK, I just wanted to make sure before I sold it.
