Other: strangely enough, he has many scars from his starter trying to get his attention. Now, if Feraligatr tries to bite him, he understands it as a sign to pay attention. He's a widower, after his wife died during childbirth (with the child, unfortunately). He, himself stands at 6'4".

Alright, we should be ready to start now, I have an idea for how to start this

Jon is in his office, and the director brings in Renae, who's brand new to the agency and tells Jon that she's going to be his new partner

Jon had been minding his own business, working on finishing a case and getting it sent in. Scye was curled in his lap, and Christopher was, despite his large size, stretched across the floor behind the chair his trainer sat in. Jon looked up from his screen as a knock on the door rang through the still air. Christopher's big head lifted, letting out a low grunt before plopping back down again.
"Come in," Jon muttered, looking back to his screen and beginning to type again. "The door's unlocked."

"Hello Jon, I have a lot of work to do today, and I'm sure you do to, so I'll keep this as brief as possible- This is miss Renae Hunter, she's new at our agency and I'm assigning her to be your partner.

"Nice to meet you Mr... C'thulma" Renae greeted him, looking at the name on the door, as she didn't know his name yet. "I'm Renae, and these are my partners" She introduced herself, and letting out a Squirtle, Zorua, and a vibrava, which buzzed around the room before landing on Renae's shoulder.

"Eddie," Jon rolled the chair backward, deadpanning. Eddie was an old nickname he'd always used for the man. "You know I don't work with other people." He muttered, knowing he would have no choice if that's what his boss wanted. Still, it was worth a shot. "There's plenty of other people here that can take her on as their partner. Why would you come to me?" He leaned back in his chair, barely casting a glance toward Renae.
Scye, on the other hand, was quick to wake from her cat nap and greet the new pokemon, hopping off Jon's lap and frolicking over. Christopher groggily lifted his head, although he didn't move. He voiced a tired hello to the other pokemon, then let his head drop again. The pokemon never did do well with lazy days in the office.

(Hold on, I wanna change my Popplio to a Squirtle)

"Well, I figured you could use someone else to lighten up the mood, plus, she needs a real pro to show her the ropes, I've gotta tell ya, the girl's got potential" Edgar said, patting her on the shoulder and pushing her forward. "Now be nice, she's staying with you until we can clean out an office for her" Eddie said, grabbing a chair from the hallway and passed it to Renae, closing the door behind her, her cheery smile twitched for a second as the suddenness.

"Well, I guess we'll be staying here for now then" Renae said cheerfully, her pokemon looking around the room. The squirtle crawled over the Feraligatr on the floor, sniffing a the large alligator pokemon, while Trickster went to sleep under Renae's chair as she sat down a few feet away from the door, Sandstorm crawled into her lap, where Renae happily pet the little dragon bug.

"What're you doing over there? Anything I can do to help?" She asked, tilting her head a little.
