.I just don't really "get" the terms. Even though I should probably know by now. (I've just been too lazy to really study it)

PB = Purebred/Purebreed

- Pet is descended solely from pets of a single theme.

- Have a blue star+theme name in their Genetics Section and in their Lineage.


Inbred = pet has at least one ancestor that shows up more than once in its lineage (as in real life)

- eg, pets have an ancestor that is both their paternal grandfather and maternal great grandfather, or a pet's mother is also their paternal great grandmother.

- has no detrimental effect in Sylestia, it is merely an information point.

- pops up a lot in Projects, where people use particular pets that have particular traits to lock those traits down in their project's gene pool

Example of both: one of our own project pets
where you can see both the blue PB star (shows theme name is moused over) and that she only has four great-grandparents, rather than eight, because the same two pairs sired the grandparents on both sides of her family.
