She cocks her head to the side slightly and smiles faintly. She glances behind herself and growls softly frowning to herself, before looking back to you.
"Hmm, yea. Are you talking about Daniella, she's a pain, stops me from tearing things limb from limb all the time..."
She waves her hand down towards the hole again and claps twice softly. Almost imminently the darkness is lit by a rich orange glow, revealing the wooden floor several metres below the ground.
"These caves run all under our village, this one leads outside to the bridge if you make the correct turns."
Marble squirms out of your hold and climbs up until she is carefully perched on top of your shoulder. You notice that there's a girl watching you quite intently from an ally way, a sword gripped tightly in her hands. The girl seems completely oblivious to the odd stares, she only pats Fae and smiles brightly at you.
"Dada said he was going to go hire more knights! I don't know where though..."
He mutters something quietly and the room is quickly filled with several men and women carefully rushing around the place, setting the table with all sorts of small cakes and fruits as well as placing plates full of cups and tea in a few places. As quickly as they all appeared they were gone again, disappearing into other rooms.
"So... How'd you end up with a 'Vene? They're pretty rare..."

I glance back at the female with a sword. She kind of looks like a knight. Maybe she knows where the girl's father is. "Please keep Amie occupied for me until I come back," I whisper to Fae, before slipping away with Marble and heading towards the ally way the sword-bearer was
