If this were a thing, it'd have to be forum+other place(s). I personally do not use Facebook, and I think a number of users would be uncomfortable having their personal information on display just to enter a contest.

we also don't use Facebook, and have never had an account there, so if the contests were there, it would just be zero good for us.
There are, in fact, multiple guides that go over image posting
Key points:
Are you making sure that
a) the image link is an image link (ends in and image file type, eg .png, .jpg, .gif)
(many people accidentally use the link to the page the image is on rather than the image url, which doesn't work between image tags)
b) you've got in inbetween the img tags right [img*] image link here [/img] (minus the *s)
(alternately, [*img= link to image] link to image [*/img] (if you want to link through to the image if it's large)

I also don't use facebook and absolutely have no intention to. Facebook can stay in it's own little world and I'll be happy to just stick to games on their actual site, thanks.

It looks like you copied your file from your desktop:
file:///storage/emulated/0/Download/image_builder_pet%20(1).png
Sylestia does not store any user images. You actually need to upload the image to an external website, whether that be Facebook, or say, imgur.com. Then use the link to your upload.
