This is what you can do, remember only do one thing!:

Change gender
Change/add/remove a trait
change a color
Change species. (if you change species, it HAS to be same gender, color, and have trait points in the same gene mutation EX. if gene 1 has a trait point on old pet, the new pet HAS to have a trait point in gene one).
