2 of my hatchlings matured into adults and were automatically released, despite the fact that I still have lots of empty space in my stable.

While I can pay to reclaim them, I also want to make sure it doesn't happen again.

Apparently there is a setting in the hatchery that auto-releases un-named. It somehow got switched on and I didn't know about it because it hadn't happened before.
