I basically agree with what everyone else is saying. I get that it's difficult to start off in this game, for sure, but I haven't ever spent any money on this site, either. Yet, I still have a substantial amount of items and stuff, and I get by. ^^ A lot of my stuff actually just came from the pure generosity of other players within my first year of so of being here. So, even if you're struggling, there will always be someone in the community who's willing to help. :)
I don't know if you've already used the service or anything, but I do run a gold-giving thread. If you ever need gold, you could go there, too. c:

Christinewhogaming - oh I didn't even realize it was a themed pet. Thanks for noticing that. At least I'm able to retrieve it. I'm glad about that. I'm not sure what you mean about not being able to use it in my party because its higher. But I'll do some reading in the guides and see if I can figure it out. :)


Redfix - thank you. I just finished earning enough to add an extra tab in my stable. I'm so excited! The advice that everyone gave to do missions was really good. I was able to earn the 20k gold in two days doing that, which feels pretty quick to me right now. I feel pretty hopeful about this situation now.

Typically, you aren't allowed to use pets that are a higher level than you, I believe. At least, that's how it was a couple years ago. ^^ People would "cheat" by using an exp orb on the higher pet to become the same level as the pet. ;) At least, I think that's how it worked. It's been a while, so it's possible that my memory is wonky tho.

last time I did that I was a lower level it didn't allow me...I do think he changed that to prevent what you just mentioned...
