Does anyone know if it's worth it to uncover objects with a torch in the final round if one doesn't have a genie lamp (which supposedly can clear all objects)?

What luck have people had with uncovering objects versus not?

On my last two plays, I made it to round three. I got some prismas, non-specific disruptors, and a spectral essence. I haven't gotten a lamp yet this year; I know I've used it in the past, to get the key if I couldn't find it or to uncover items in round three. But you can definitely get some good stuff without uncovering items.

Thanks :) Decided to not uncover anything.

The Objects do have a much higher chance of containing the more prestigious rewards, but there is no guarantee and it obviously requires 2 tool uses.

You can still find the prestigious rewards on the open areas of the maps, but they are under objects more frequently than in the open.

It probably just depends on what you're looking for. If you're specifically looking for the prestigious rewards, you'd probably find them faster only looking underneath objects. However, your total yield per game would be less obviously because you'd be using a lot of tools on removing objects.

If you're just wanting the most return for your entry fee, then probably ignoring the objects is the best bet. However, when I play, I can't help but occasionally try for an object-covered spot on Stage 3 or 2 (after I found a key) just to test my luck. =P


Also, just to note, the prizes for each Stage listed at the bottom are ordered Most Prestigious to Least Prestigious (Going Left to Right).
