Ok so I have a few of questions related to ART on Sylestia. PLEASE ANSWER THEM.

1. How do you trade or buy art on Sylestia?
2. If I drew some art, took a picture of it, how would I post it on Sylestia?
3. What so good about art on Sylestia?
4. Can everyone make art and does it have to be about Sylestia?
5. If I owned art, what would I do with it other than trade it?
6. Is there a specific theme for art?

i attempted to answer them to the best of my ability:

1. there is an entire forum category dedicated to buying and trading art named 'Art Trades', you go to whoever's taking commission's thread and follow their directions to order. to participate in an art trade, both users must agree and be given a character or scene to draw, after that, the two will swap art pieces.
2. there is also an entire forum category dedicated to showcasing ad sharing your artwork named 'Art Gallery'. you can post whatever artwork that YOU have drawn or whatever artwork other's have drawn FOR YOU with credit. i'm pretty sure you can post gore and/or flashing colors with warnings too, but any naughty stuff is inappropriate xD
3. hmm... i'm not sure how to answer this one. for some people, Sylestia is another place to advertise and make art for users in exchange for game or other currency. they don't always draw and don't have to draw only Sylestia pets or avatars, they can draw for you your OCs or IRL pets, whatever suits them.
4. yes, of course! anyone and everyone can make art and share it if they wish! and no, it doesn't have to be related to Sylestia in anyway, but that doesn't mean you can't, haha.
5. well.. it depends? if you owned art that YOU drew, you can keep it as a reference when ordering art, you can keep it as remembrance pf what you drew in the past, sell it, etc. you don't have to trade it! to me, owning my art let's me look back on it and order art from others, every piece is very special and personal to me! but everyone has different opinion so i can't speak for everyone. if you owned art that other drew FOR YOU, you can keep as a reference for ordering more art, etc. but i'm pretty sure you CANNOT trade or sell artwork by others, but maybe if you are selling the OC the art was made for entirely (all artwork of them, the design, etc.) so in summary: if it's special to you, keep it, if not much.. do whatever suits you
6. no, of course not! as i already said, you can draw about anything you wish! unless there are user hosted or admin hosted art contests or something, there is no 'theme' to drawing. as i said though, NSFW (not safe for work) art pieces is somewhat restricted. gore, flashing colors, anything triggering are ok but must have warnings!

do you mean images? you post images just like you do with images from Sylestia

you copy the image address of the artwork/photo, paste it here, select it, then click the 'img' button.

if you don't have a link for artwork/photos, you can upload them to image hosting sites like Imgur and DA, then get their link from the search bar :P

You have to uplode tue image to a server ( I use Devian Art) then right click or double click the image. A pop up come and you look for Image address or image source. Something like that. Then do the normal image posting routine
