I've been wondering if there could be a way to see a pet's lvl 0 base stats to help when breeding for stats. I'm thinking this could be useful for comparing pets who have are already leveled and also possibly wearing gear when trying to breed to figure out whether to breed or not. Just not sure how about how it could be added. Maybe a link on the profile?

That would be an excellent suggestion, for if people want to compete on the pet highscores or whatnot, knowing base stats would make things a bit more simple, i suppose.

I agree with this suggestion. It would make breeding for stats easier if you bought a lot of your parents.

it would make breeding easier, although isn't breeding based on the parents current stats, after lvl just not with armor? anyone know?

Krinadon: For stats, it just takes a random amount between the parent's base stats
Krinadon: It's just based on their base stats which never change once a pet is created
You can improve each generation though with the help of philters (and nurturing).

I'm bumping this since I think Krin's working on pet profiles soon and this suggestion was a good ways back.

Oh wow, this has been sitting for a while. o.o
Full support! I've finally started with a stats project myself with the SE Ny'vene, so I'm learning how leveled and geared pets can make it muuuuch more complicated, and it also can raise the level of the offspring which only complicates thing further.

Base stats are simply Stat - Level = Base
Without armor or points, of course.
You can also view the stats while it's still an egg via the advanced search :P
