How do I get the tasks I have finished off of my task board. It says that I should complete them, but I'm not sure how.

There's a little green check mark in the corner of a completed task that you have to click to get the rewards. It's definitely hard to spot... I remember having a lot of trouble with it when I first started doing tasks. You're certainly not alone. ^.^
