All I am wondering is if I can breed different sylestis.

I am also wondering who gets the egg when you breed sylestis with someone else.

No, you cannot breed the different species of sylesti together.

If someone else has a pet up for public breeding, and you breed your pet with that pet, you will get the egg.

If /you/ have a pet up for public breeding, and someone else breeds a pet with your pet, the other person will get the egg.
