I'm honesty confused on what a Fabled Species is...

i think it's basically a species that is... uncommon? fabled pretty much means they are mentioned in legends about their existence.

it doesn't make much of a difference at all from what i've seen, they just take 7 days to recover for fabled species, while only 3 days for normal ones.

Its the specal species that are far harder to obtain via taming


They are either sesonal animals ( like griffies in winter) or obtained via defeating a boss/ named (like nyvenes in the forsaken forest dungeon ) or with arena marks in the last zone ( also venes and puffs)

Fabled have higher base stats than regular species (effectively, their base zone is double that of the common species, and their Mana is +20), and have a longer breeding recovery time (seven days instead of three.)

Nephini - Incredibly Rare, found in Astryl's Vale zones, The Lost Grove, and Festival Zones
Ferrikki - Very Rare, found in The Lost Grove. Themed Ferrikki can be found in Fest Zones.

Ryori - Fall
Griffi - Winter
Aeridini - Spring
Lighira - Summer

Ny'vene - Bought from the Ethernia Arena, or obtained as a rare drop from Vierna in The Dungeon of the Forsaken.


Puffadore - Not actually a Fabled Species. Could be considered a pseudo-fabled, but lacks the boosted stats of an actual fabled. Obtained from the Puffadore Pet Shop in Ethernia.
