Can eggs be tested? I thought they couldn't. If I'm wrong I have a handful of eggs that need testing too.

Eggs can be tested; it's just that they won't show the traits until they've hatched. However, you can see stuff like strength, intelligence, etc. And probably other stats too, I just haven't really checked.
