You are in a metal box. You can feel it moving upwards, and when it finally comes to a squealing halt, the doors are opened by a bunch of people. There are ranks, the leader, the person second in charge, the med-jacks, keeper of the Runners, keeper of the slicers, keeper of the cooks, keeper of the track-hoes, keeper of the builders. (For those who havent read the book, the keepers are just the leaders of those people. Most of the, are pretty self explanatory, and slicers are people who butcher animals, and the track-hoes are the farmers.

Avery is Bubbly and overly optimistic no matter the situation. She tends to bottle up all of her negative feelings and worries and takes care of them on her own. She is competitive and encouraging, as well as trustworthy and not one to yell or get angry often. That being said she holds firm to her beliefs and will refuse to sway from them easily, she is more the type to protect those she cares about at all costs. Also she is fairly skilled fighter and when actually angered she tends to get aggressive quickly. The things that seem to trigger her are tense situations followed by someone chalanging her leadership, disrespect in delicate situations, and others threatening those she is close too. She has a high pain tolerance and tends to visit the Med Jacks frequently.
