Wacom's the only thing I have used, and my Bamboo Pen is still working after 5 years. I think back then, it was around $70?
The nibs are pretty pricey, considering they are just plastic sticks. I ended up using a toothpick wrapped in sticky tape as a replacement, and draw on a piece of cardboard separating the tablet to prevent scratches after the nib wore out.
I'm not sure if they have cheaper wireless ones though.

Yeah I've seen some reviews saying that the surface is rough and nibs wear out fast, nice idea for a solution though!
