Yo guys! I'm thinking to get an art tablet (not ones with a display screen), and I'm looking for some suggestions from all you wonderful artists out there! :)
I'd prefer it to have a way of blue tooth connection since my macbook is the new model with not usb port D:< (why apple, why do you do this)
I've heard wacom is good? But I've also seen some pretty bad reviews...
I'm completely new to this, so my expectations aren't very high, but I'd like it to feel just like pen and paper.
Price? eh.,,.. we'll see based on some suggestions! so please include the price in there too...

Ahoy there!

If something seems to good to be true- don't buy it! Normally the five-star "OMG IT'S THE BEST" ratings are done by the company/paid commenters. It's good to experiment. If you're working with a budget I'd suggest a happy medium tablet. The best I can do is link a nice cite that can help.

No USB port? This is why I don't like Apple products. I was going to suggest what tablet I have, but that has to be plugged into my laptop. And you have no USB port. Also, if something isn't getting good ratings, don't get it. You want to stick to your budget, but you don't want to waste on something you thought was good, but the ratings say it wasn't, and it turns out they were right. Better safe than sorry.

Yeah I was pretty annoyed when I first got it too, the newest model has two charging ports and a headphone jack... and nothing else :/

Here is the tablet I use. It is wired but it says it has wireless accessories sold separately. (not sure if it'll work for Bluetooth though) I'd say it's pretty good for a beginner. Though it will be strange adjusting from regular pen and paper to the tablet. (It's the same with all tablets) You pick up on it pretty fast and soon you'll be drawing on it just like pen and paper.

Here is the link to all their pet tablets. If you look at this page you'll find a few Bluetooth tablets. Best of luck!

I have a non-USB Mac, too, but I got an adapter and a Wacom tablet, which works pretty dang well. Not sure which model, but it's a smaller one, and I just discovered it has wireless ports and battery spots. If I figure out the model, I'll edit here and post an Amazon link.
edit: ha-ha, guess what? it was the very first result!
