Eggs are found when you go to that zone. The older ones you have to move through by fighting and eventually an egg will drop. In the newer zones where your character is on screen the eggs will be on the map.

You all seem to know what your talking about so I'm gonna ask this here if you don't mind.

Can you still find the egg once you've earned a prize like genetic kit or something?

Because I've gotten prizes but still haven't found any eggs so I'm just curious to know if I'm wasting my time searching still.

It was always my belief that the Easter Egg Hunt and the Easter Egg Collections (that give you pets) are two very different things. The Easter Egg collections are random drops that are unconnected to the hunt but can happen anywhere.
