The hooting eventually stops and you are left in darkness and silence alone. You continue until the path splits yet again.

To the left you see an old tree that looks dead while to the right you see snow.

(Sorry this took so long! I was attempting to rewrite all of the turns for the newer... (And I quote Drascon) victims of the maze and I was failing and it simply took too much time so I may pick it back up again later, but for now, I am going back to the way I did it)

You wait patiently while the pups slowly wake up, but you are becoming restless.

Soon enough, the pups are all awake and the mother watches you exit the mouth of the cave. She nudges the pups and follows you.

You continue down a path until it ends.

You choose to go left and the creek soon begins to show signs of the waters moving more rapidly.

You slowly turn around to see a Morkko hatchling up ahead and assume he is abandoned, poor thing!

You quickly scramble to find food in your backpack, for you can see the young Sylesti's bones.

You find food and he seems ravenous, for he eats everything you give him.

You have received a male Morkko hatchling as a prize

You quickly gather your things and head in the direction you were originally going. Your new friend follows you after clumsily stumbling on a root.

You soon notice that the creek looks shallow enough to cross and you hear what sounds like steps of some sort on the other side of the bank.

What do you do?

You cautiously step across the river and your Morkko follows you, splashing in the shallow water behind you. You follow where your ears lead you until you come to a dirt path that splits.

To the left, you see recent imprints in the path in an odd hodgepodge of shapes and sizes. To the right, the path continues normally and you hear the rushing of water.

What do you do?
