I deciding that I'd use this one because although the design is pretty simple, I'm using the color scheme of it, because it is beautiful.
But then I also used one of the characters from Hellboy, the movie.
The result, this:

"Species SGJF-9572 is a aquatic dweller populating many of the salt lakes in the northwest district. Judging by it's bright markings and carnivorous nature it's the top predator in the food chain. So far no hostility or interest had been shown to the diving probes. Species SGJF-9572 has also shown to have a small form of telekinesis be having a ring of water surrounding it at all times. The halo appears to be mainly used in defense but has been recorded as a weapon to drag unsuspecting land animals into the water to drown. Due to it's carnivorous nature there is still a mystery to the magenta flower's some specimens have in their halo. Theories so far have ranged from a threat display to mating rituals or possibly a poison."
