After a week of construction, Inkopolis Plaza is ready to be revealed to the waiting Inklings and other species. There are many things to do, like Turf War or even play Ranked Battles such as Clam Blitz, Rainmaker, Tower Control and Splat Zones.
Course, there's always that one shady place next to Ammo Knights...
It seems to be closed for now, though.
Anyways, if you're hungry, why not grab a bite at Crusty Sean's Food truck?

ANYWAYS, if you guys forgot the rules, here they are. Because this is the RP, they will be slightly modified.
Rules
1.) Be nice. If you're gonna be mean, be mean to the character, not the person controlling it!
2.) No godmodding.
3.) Communication Errors occur if a person is inactive for a day or more. If this happens three times, the person will be unable to battle in the RP for an hour.
4.)Hero Mode(Which now includes the Octo Expansion) and Salmon Run will be available later on.
5.) Your characters cannot use amiibos.
6.) Squidbagging is only okay after Salmon Run or Squid-Parties. Any other time is seen as disrespectful and unsportsmanlike.
7.) Remember to have fun!

Starting Paragraph for Idols
The Chicken vs Egg Splatfest was going quite well. Despite all the scientific disputes and the very dirty "white ink" jokes flying around, all in all, it was a very good Splatfest. Though no one below the stage could see it, the other Idols could see the dots of sweat rolling down Pearl and Marina's faces. Being an Idol was no easy job, that was for sure. Writing songs and dealing with everyday things, it was just tiring. Though after a few more hours, the Idols both sat down with relief as the music stopped. They had a couple more minutes before they had to be on the air, and they really needed the time to chill and relax. They looked down at the ground and saw how many cracked eggs and litter were on the ground. They groaned with annoyance and sighed as they slumped onto the cold hard stage. If only they had someone or some people to help them...
Starting Paragraph for Non-Idols
Inside of the Lobby, the speakers began to blare.
"Kids who are still in the Lobby have 45 minutes to wrap up their battles before the Chicken vs. Egg Splatfest ends. Splatfest Tees will need to be returned as soon as the Splatfest ends. Those who do not return their shirts will not be able to participate in any battles until they return the shirts. Stay Fresh!"
The kids groaned at the warning and went back to their battles, while others waited for their buddies to join them.

Century came up to Pearl and Marina.."Long day?" she asked sitting down and handing both of them a small cup of [insert drink here]...
Takisis hurriedly put her returned her tee.....not like she wanted to though.She grumbled sadly after doing it

Pearl and Marina gladly took the cups of Kelp Soda, taking big gulps out of them. Marina nods at Century as she set the now empty cup on the stage floor, "A very long day. I'm so glad to get a break. All that performing and singing tired me out."
Takuri walked out the Lobby with a wide grin on her face, holding her Blaster proudly in her arms. She just won 10 battles in a row. Her Egg Splatfest Tee was tight on her, she didn't get the right size. She noticed Marina and Pearl and nearly squealed.

Hayden was waiting for his Squad to show up, still wearing his Splatfest Tee. He voted for Chicken. He wasn't going to return the tee until after the Splatfest, it had really good abilities and he wasn't going to give it up until he scrubbed the slots.
