Through genetics using alien species, humans enhanced with their technology. Yet one piece of technology was really an open secret. Cyborgs. With human-like features and minds, everyone knew about them, but nobody talked about them. Originally made by a big robot company called Pear, the Galactic Navy tried to smother the talk about them, but Pear had destroyed planets to gain resources, using Terracondensers, and they made more than just humanoids. Tiny drone bombs. Massive mechs. Huge war machines. Apparently backed by several weapon dealers, they attempted a coup, failed, and there was a war between organic and metal, organic winning. Most were scrapped for parts, but a couple hundred were left, a small percent of the massive Metal Army. They were allowed to 'coexist' under careful watch. Regular robots, automated ships, waiters, companions were left untouched, as were the not-really-legal-but-normal-in-everyday-society metal modders, as they were usually called. Folks who gave themselves robot parts like limbs, gear, etc.

Over an Earth-century later, and the heavy cyborg restrictions were lifted. But not everyone is happy about the change. Not even all of the cyborgs.

Backstory: She was scrapped for a deflected reasoning chip they couldnt figure out, but then the put her in reserve instead, due to being such an important model, the first one hundred Genesis Xs. After the war, she pledged loyalty to the Navy and they let her live, shipping her to the Colony where they put all the problems and criminals.
Loved One: None. It isnt something she can feel. Genesis X and Y cant feel love or remorse for things.

Mods/Add-ons: Her left ribs have metal plates, her left limbs and shoulder are fake, alone with pelvic plates, due to a bomb that was detonated on Gaia Delta from an enemy ship. She saved her brother but her left side was severely damaged.

Backstory: She was fifteen when the bomb struck. Angela was carrying a toddler brother, and she blocked him, losing her left limbs in the process. The entire block was put in a cryostasis; a big blue glowing cube, and sent to the Warehouse Planet, forgotten. Eight years before the role play, someone looked in the old building and dug the cube up and let them out. She got new limbs and stuff first though
