(Although you're fixed - I think you misunderstood. you may use regen traits, but you must use 1-2 or 4-6 and not 3 directly ^^ It wasn't necessary to remove them all.)
I particularly enjoy your "Ravine Dwellers" design. The brown is bright, but I like how it fits with the black, especially with the green and blue tints due to the clouded leopard. It's a very hard trait to make work. I love the blend on the peacock wings, it isn't too bright or too dark and adds beautifully to the whole design. The green pearl armour on the male really sticks out on the design and draws me in. Overall, very well done.

Thank you everyone for participating in February's design contest! I hope to see you when I set up the next one.
My personal favourite must be Dragonrider1542's Saturn Storm design. I didn't know before now Saturn could even have hurricanes. It is a beautiful reference picture and an equally gorgeous design. The gold really sticks out and fits in with the burgundy. I hope to see more unique and gorgeous designs in the future.
First off - hurricane. There were many beautiful designs and it was the most popular section. It was hard to pick.
I have decided Mikaelathekitty's Hurricane Lords has to win first place. The pair are both amazingly made. The two shades of greenish-blue blend beautifully and steampunk hat is a very hard one to make look good. The thing that really drags me in is the simplicity and contrast of the orange glow on the wings. It's a very good choice and fits nicely.
For the runner up, Cians design is elegant. It takes a very watery-cloud view, but that works with the butterfly traits. Usually being confident with such different colours can end in disaster, but this design has pulled it off beautifully. The contrast between black and white with the blue fits in. The glow critter really suits the colours, shown by the end of the feeler.
Shayni's Earthquake design is simple. It fits together. The brown ombre on the back is really eye-catching, especially since the butterfly traits burn a golden colour. It is in a way symbolic of the life lost in these disasters. The sandy tapir blends on the back, it suits the brown, especially with the speckles under on the puffadores cheek.
As a runner up - I love the shading on Spicybb's Desert Quake design is. The lighter angelic runes twist around the body, you've made this trait look gorgeous. Although it is a very one-coloured design, the shading, is one again, very detailed. The very dark almost black brown against the flaming eyes and wings. It reminds me of sand being thrown around.
For Volcanoes, I decided to go with Enyo's design. It is vibrant and eye catching with very bright colours. Usually this'd be a risk but I love how it was pulled off. The black skeleton armour is contrasting the red. The also very bright yellow on the flames and tribal markings pull off the look fantastically.
The Imperial Flame design by Dragonrider1542 is unique. The touch of the white life lines brings out the dark red underneath the yellow. The bell wrap pattern is played with and very bright, but works as an excellent touch. I love the ombre on the candy crown.

I'm happy you like my design! You can use it for a project if you want. Usually all designs I submit to contests are designs I create especially for the occasion, and are free to use by the ruler of the contest :). (Though if ever you do a project using one of my design, I would love to make a trade with you to get one offspring!)
