I keep seeing url's for posts in blue. How do I do that?

When you write post under the ping list there are blue buttons in the left are four buttons
URL IMG URL= and IMG=
You can click on the URL button and this pops into your text box

[url ] [ /url]

(But without the spaces)

You copy the url that you want between them like this

[url ]https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=2294278[ /url]

(Again without spaces)
and it will now be linked

https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=2294278

(This link goes to my favorite Vene!)

and alternately, text links
So if you want a link to the Q&A forum or whatever, you need it to be [url = https://www.sylestia.com/view/pets/?petid=2294278]whatever text[ /url]
Which you can easily get- you just highlight the text that you want to make into a link then hit the URL= button, which will give you a popup prompt that you paste the url into

Lately my pictures haven't been working. I will do the img but instead of the picture showing up it will just be a black X.

For example

That's a page link you're using (having grabbed the broken link and dragged it to the url bar to check), not a pet image link. It's trying to make an image out of the pet's entire page, which. Obviously doesn't work.

You just have to make sure you're using an Image link (right click an image and select 'copy image location', or go 'view image' and copy from the url bar)
