anyways how do you use items in your wardrobe?

first of all you have to unlocke them via your inventory ( select the item and then click use). If you don't have it you can still test the look with the magnifing glass on the left corner of the picture.

once you have them in your wardrobe you just have to click on them. the item that you own will be in yellowish white instead of light gray. ^-^

Basically what she said, except the background will be yellowish-white, not the item.
To remove an item from your wardrobe, you can press the little red button on the corner of the item slot, but make sure you save all your changes and have the item off before you do it!
