@Krinadon,
Okay, we're all spazzing over the rare new sea horsie, and it's pretty exciting, but I stumble across a rare seahorse and catch it ;D I get Bella1988 (Thank you :> ) to test it, and there's only 1 carried trait. It could be carrying 2 traits in the same place, but i need to make sure :<


She only carries one trait D: (Did I do something wrong XD ) she was a blue star, meaning she was rare right? o:

My uncommon didn't carry anything

I think the problem is that Kelparies atm don't have any Gene Slot 3 genes. I can't really address anything because I can't think of a way to avoid it w/o creating an infinite loop for a 6 vis/carry pet (since it wouldn't be possible to have 6 traits if one slot is empty).

The issue here really is just the title of being a "Rare" or "Uncommon". So once the new trap system's put in place and I remove those titles, then it would just be a Kelpari w/ random genes/mutations.

So there really isn't anything I can do atm that I can think of to fix the problem.

So if someone makes a Gene Slot 3 trait, would my pony have it too? :c or not? Or could you give her a different carried trait in another slot? xD It's understandable though c: Sorry for bothering you~

It wouldn't be retroactive, but would solve the problem. Not having anything in gene slot 3 was kinda an oversight. We always try to release a new species w/ at least one thing in each slot.

And I don't really want to start going down the road of adding random genes or mutations. Like I said, it's not really a bug. It's just confusing b/c the new rarity system is still using the titles of the old system (because otherwise traps wouldn't work). So until I can make a new trap system, I'm stuck with this problem.
