I've figured out that you get a scale everytime you nurture an eggling, which is super cool.

But when I visit the scale shop, I see differently priced egglings.


Does that mean they are better?

For example, one priced at 1,235 scales VS. one priced at 490 scales?

and what kind of eggs are in the scale shop??

The higher the price of the egg the more trait points the pet will have.

Yes, more expensive egglings usually have more traits. The eggs are basically just random eggs from various species. Some advice, the cheaper eggs arent usually worth spending all those scales on. You usually have to buy the eggs for at least 1000 scales to actually get a good pet.

Legendary eggs (6tp) start at about 1900. At 1900, if we're remembering right, it leans towards carrying the traits, and the higher it gets from there the more likely it is to have more vis.

I don't believe people have done as much recording-wise to sort out the likelihoods of stuff, but a 1000 scale egg is more likely to be a 4 carry epic, I think?
