How do you get one of your other pets to be your active pet?

On explore, the option party will appear. The first pet in your party will be your active pet

@Gingerpaw,
Go to Explore>Party and the pet on your First slot will be your active pet. In battle, they will be fighting in the middle and take the brunt of the damage.
