Why are some gene/mutation types the same but are colored green, blue, or purple? I've always guessed it had to do with rarity but genes/mutations that are the same also have the color differences? What do they mean? :o

(Almost a 3 year old account and I still don't understand this XD)

Im assuming you mean in the advanced search, in which case:
Green is a carried trait
Blue is a visible trait with no hiddens (or the pet hasnt been tested, so hiddens dont show)
Purple is a visible trait with a hidden trait.
