Hello hello, people of Sylestia! My name is Neyite and welcome to my sprite shop!
Little bit of backstory, I've been self teaching myself pixel art for about half a year now, and I feel like it would be a fun thing to do alongside school to start trying to sell my stuff here on Sylestia. I really enjoy doing pixel art, it makes me happy to feel like I'm actually okay at an art medium. I really like being able to make things for myself and close friends instead of relying on others or other random apps to do it for me. I really want to get better, but oftentimes I have no clue what to sprite. xD

This is where you come in. :P

I am interested in playing around with different things, so I am fine with most everything anyone would commission. I've been having a lot of fun recently with Sylestis, even if they're intricate, so don't feel limited in that regard. However, I am not comfortable doing full-body human sprites. They never quite turn out well so I'll spare you the grossness xD

Now, the one person to offer advice on pricing on my gallery page said I should sell my stuff at 100k, although that feels high to me. So, I've come up with pricing that feels more fair to me below. I am open changes in my pricing if anyone thinks it's worth more or less. That being said, I will ask reasonable prices for the effort, so don't think you're going to get an intricately colored and animated sprite for 10g.

Depending on the level of detail in the sprite, I should be able to get your spritework done within a week, if not sooner. If I end up going past a week into a current commission, please do ping me to remind me.

Copyright guidelines: The art I make for the commissioner belongs to the commissioner, and you are allowed to use my artwork however you like, but I require credit wherever you use the artwork that I made it. You may not recolor or resell my artwork.

I will send a CoD once I complete the spritework, then once you accept, I will PM you the finished sprite.

Like many others, I am going to segment prices in packages and add-ons.
Flat color sprite: 20k

Intricate color sprite: 35k (price could go up depending on how intricate shading is)

Basic background (Simple gradient background): +10k

Complicated background (Shows setting and different colors): +15k

Simple animation (1-4 frames, ie blinking, floating): +10k

Complicated animation (5+ frames): +25, depending on animation difficulty
I don't have any examples of these, as I've never had a reason to sprite more complicated animations.

Additional animations: +10k

I believe that these pricings are fair, albeit slightly confusing. Looking to buy the absolute most you can do? 100k+. Looking to buy the absolute least? 20k. Though I tend to be too nice for my own good, so we can see if we can strike a deal. I am choosing these prices because I am taking hours out of my day for your art, and as such require proper payment for my time and efforts, especially when it comes to gif work. A single pixel out of place can ruin a gif's appearance, and if that were to happen I would have to fix it in each frame, which is a painstaking and annoying process.

I am also fine with the equal amount of diamonds, based upon current diamond-gold translations as seen on the broker at time of commission request.

Also, please bear in mind that sprites are small. I've inflated them up by 4x to make the differences easier to view for the thread, but unless stated in the commission, all sprites will be sent at this size:

Now, these prices differ when it comes to Sylestis. Obviously, the more traits there are in the Sylesti, the more difficult to sprite it'll be. I'm drawing these at 800% zoom and 100x100 canvas, I don't have much space. So, when it comes to spriting Sylestis, I require extra gold for each additional trait. This is sorta to try to discourage insanely complicated commissions, as I will only dissappoint you with lack of space to give each trait adequate showing in such a small canvas.
1 traited Sylesti -- +0K
2 traited Sylesti -- +2K
3 traited Sylesti -- +5K
4 traited Sylesti -- +10K
5 traited Sylesti -- +18K
6 traited Sylesti -- +25K

Still confusing? Just realize that if you choose to have a sylesti with more traits sprited, it will cost more.

I hope you guys like, and if anyone has any critique as far as pricing, spritework, animation and more, don't hesitate to say so. I realize the pricing is kind of confusing, so if you want you can just ask me how much it would cost to sprite a certain Sylesti, and I'll list options with prices.

Please ping me when making your commission!

Hey ^^
I've seen you're sprites on discord, they're super awesome!

I'd really like an intricate colour sprite done of my WS Puff, Aurora, if that's okay ^^

Would be around 37k right?

She's gorgeous! Should be a fun color palette to work with. I will work on it later tonight after I finish up some school stuff, and yup, 37k.

Thanks!

Hello! Do you think an Intricate color, complicated background, simple animation of this six trait boy siting on a throne in the underworld would be possible? He is based on Disney's version of Hades, so I'd like his mane to be made of blue fire. If the animation could just be him blinking and the fire moving that would be great, if that needs to be a complicated animation that's fine. Please let me know if this is an unreasonable request, as I am not familiar with the limits of sprites.

Just a warning, that would be 85k gold, given how many traits he has. I am up for the challenge, however!

Little update for those who care: I haven't been working on current commissions to instead work on a Christmas project for someone close to me, which has a whopping 200 frames and about 100 different images, all hand (mouse) drawn by me, so this has taken up the past couple days as far as pixel stuff goes. Whoop for spending like 12 hours on a single project xD

So yea, if you were wondering where your sprite is, Sky, I haven't forgotten! I just really needed to get this sprite done sooner rather than later.

Heeey there those who are interested! I apologize for the slowness on getting these done. I've been super behind in school and have been dealing with artist's block. Now though, my friend has introduced me to a new pixel art program that is much easier to use, for both animation and drawing. For now, here is the fruits of my labor. Future animation requests will be done as fluid as this here, I hope.
