We are really happy to announce a lot of important changes in the works. The first of which is the development of a new layout for the entire site: http://i.imgur.com/cnawXth.png

While still under development, the layout is coming along nicely and most pieces are already in place. We have wanted a new layout for a really long time now and in combination with some other things, we decided now is the perfect time to begin the process. We would like to hear your feedback on what you think!


In addition to a new look, we are also in the process of completely recoding the backend portion of our site. When we first began, a certain site coder was pretty clueless on how to manage databases and all that jazz - so needless to say, the bulk foundation of our code is very poorly written, bulky, wasteful, etc. The 'recode' will greatly reduce mysql connections and reduce server load which will help speed up page loads and improve consistency (and make my future much happier).


Lastly, as you can see in the screenshot, we are still working on the Ethernia/Tasks part. At this point in time, Tasks are actually finished being coded. They are acceptable, completeable, and rewardable! However, we are still working on recoding Ethernia and we do not want to release one without the other. So it will be a few more days still.


Due to the complexity of the issue, we can't really recode our entire site at once. We unfortunately will have to recode our site piece by piece. This means that beginning sometime this week, certain pages will look old and "classic", while others will be new and streamlined. We can't really do anything to make this any less inconvenient so everyone will just have to bare with us for a month or so.

We definitely are looking forward to the day when it's all finished and hope you will be too!

(Oh and, you may notice some weird issues like... buttons changing, fonts changing etc during this process. It seems Cloudflare can't cache the same css class name even if it's from 2 separate files. So what's happening is that it's sometimes caching the newer classes instead of the old. So I'm sorry for that and I'll do what I can to avoid it.)

Hopefully all the kinks are worked out with ease. I'm wishing the best of luck for getting everything right on the first go~! All of the improvements made to this site have been wonderful so far, so I'm really looking forward to seeing the new layout and changes put into action! <3

Ah that navigation layout looks a lot better

One thing that sticks out to me though is the number of colors on that page...the less colors the better usually.
