They won't make an announcement if your design was used, but you will find out eventually a user will put together a thread of all the themes from the fest and then request who the designers were for each design from the admins and it will be posted, and at the latest you would find out at the end of the fest because you will get a message from Krin asking for your prize themed request :) hope this helps
