She said quietly, "But I've rested all day. I should be helping." she refused to take the fish, she had eaten the rabbit easier after all.
Silversong laughed. "Really? You should be helping? There's nowhere to help, dear." She purred gently, then continues. "You've already given us three kits, and th is amazing. The most I can do is catch some prey."

She smelt the air, maybe prey would be nice for them. After she would go back to them.

Her ears pinned back, "Blossom says she can take up to the twoleg place if we want to continue fromt here. The kits are old enough to travel."

"A third time would be too desperate, they are gone" you could smell another cat nearby, almost next to you. It was stopping the scent of prey.
