Claudius rushed over to Tala and Chris crouching down next to them.
Keith could feel his heart racing, adrenaline made him spin the staff faster, wishing he could get a clear shot at Ivy withting the others by accident.

Chris attempted to help her up, glancing at Ivy every few seconds to make sure she wouldn't notice.
Artemesia felt almost frozen but managed to speak. "We don't have whoever you're looking for." She declared, her accented voice sounded like a warble with the addition of slight stuttering. "Please just leave."
Poison Ivy snarled and leaped at her. She barely dodged but one of the thorny vines curled around her leg and lifted her up. She winced as he leg started bleeding and the vine held her upside-down. Ow! Her head hurt and she tried not to look down.

Keith shouted and charged at Ivy as soon as he was close enough he threw the spinning staff at her face like a redneck boomerang.
Claudius helped CHris with Tala.

She gritted her teeth and almost attempted to break the vines when she saw Keith throw the staff. Now she'll kill us for sure.
Poison Ivy was smacked in the face with the staff. There was a cracking noise and as it clattered to the ground, Chris could see blood dripping from Poison Ivy's now-red and misshapen nose. The woman roared withe anger and the vines blindly attacked both the team and themselves. The dropped Artemesia and she fell, screaming. Before she could hit the ground, someone caught her.
She was set down on the ground and nodded at Chris. "Thanks." Chris looked at his hands in wonder. "Yes, you can fly Superboy. Get used to it." She was about to get her lasso, bracelets, armor and word but her ankle burned.

Keith cursed even more than a sailor could in a few seconds, he approached Ivy with a look that made garden shears look dull. THis is stupid, but I can't help it, it feels like something else is in control.
Claudius quickly scooped Tala up as a vine whipped their direction, and hovered into the air, slinging the girl onto his back.
