~For those of you who are new or have forgotten, this universe is a mix of the comics and the video games. However, I'll be making a change from the previous thread. Instead of just everything up to Arkham Asylum -with the inclusion of said event, everything up to a few months before the beginning of Arkham Knight has happened. Everything else is from the comics. Barbara is Oracle and, therefore, still in a wheel chair. Stephanie Brown is Batgirl and Cassandra Cain is Blackbat, though the former is "dead" and the latter is off in Asia searching for her mother. Damian lives in the manor with Bruce and Alfred. ****** lives in Bludhaven and works as a policeman in the daylight hours. Jason is alive, prepping his army, and getting ready to initiate his plan to take his revenge on Bruce. Tim lives in Gotham as well and handles WE alongside Lucius and Bruce -he is also NOT dating Babs or sporting that poor fashion choice of a haircut. (As for characters such as Duke, Kate Kane or other new characters, I'm not quite familiar enough with them so they're kind of not there.)~

In such a large city like Gotham, everyone lives a hard life. It's not surprising that corruption and poverty are rampant. Another problem was the exponentially climbing rate of stray animals. It was just as hard for the animals to survive as it was for the humans, if not worse. It was difficult to find food, some humans liked to hurt them for no reason other than for some way to pass the time, and the living conditions were atrocious.
Many animals had seen and come into contact with the strange humans who fought other humans. From the man in black with wings and his young cub with a penchant for nabbing animals off the street to the . The cats in particular held a deep love for the woman who looked similar to them. The Cat Queen, as they called her, was someone they'd do just about anything for. The animals held a special place in their hearts for all of these people. They intended to give back the kindness they'd been given ten-fold.

Rain pattered against cold brick and freezing steel that comprised the city of Gotham. People rushed between awnings, entyways, and crevices for even the most miniscule relief from the biting wind pelting them with water droplets. Though most shielded themselves with their coats or umbrellas, others were not so lucky. Homeless men and women were everywhere, trudging through hopefully safer alleys in search of shelter for the night as others went about the streets unhindered by anything beside the chilling liquid soaking them to the bones.
Unnoticed and uncared for by any of them, three creatures would meet under the moon light with sopping fur and shivering forms. A large feline, mainly brown in coloration with spots of pitch and grey throughout, stepped out from a shadowed alleyway. Her blue eyes cut through the darkness like a hot knife through butter, shards of hazel barely visible in the lunar rays. A massive dog already sitting at their meeting spot greeted her gaze with a welcoming grin and warm mahogany brown eyes. He stood on all four paws and quickly shook himself of any residual excessive amounts of dampness. They hundled together under the light of the moon and waited further for the last to arive. Time passed by slowly, though they were comfortable with the accompanying drumming of water hitting the ground. Before long, a bright red fox tip-toed into open space. He leapt over puddles and glided across wet stone to sit down after greeting the others with a happy snicker and mischief in his eyes.
"We're all here, Chloe. You want to discuss something?" The gargantuan mutt, Ben, questioned, a shiver quivering through his form in spite of his thick coat.
Chloe nodded, the brown cat hopping onto a wooden crate out of the way of the wind. "I do. The end of the warm cycle is coming, I wanted to check in with the two of you. Make sure things are still going well."
"Eh, they're 'bout as well as they can be, Fluffy. We finally go' rid o' that flea problem from a couple blank moons back," Sam the fox hummed noncommitally as he followed her on top of the storage box and Ben sat beside it against the brick wall.
Ben snorted, an unamused tone in his voice when he spoke, "Yeah, well, I think they found my group. Some of the older members are getting cranky because of them."
"Oof, a' least it's gettin' colder out th'n, they should be easier to kill off. Anyway, wha' 'bout you, Chloe? Oh, wait, don'' tell me... You finally found a mate?"
"I'd sooner claw out someone's eyes than let anyone get close to me like that and you know it," the feline turned her nose up at the thought of such a preposterous notion as mating. She wanted nothing to do with it, and she'd neuter or spay anyone that attempted to sway her otherwise.
"No," she paused before continuing hesitantly, " It's just... Does it feel like things are too quiet? I'm not talking just here, but our entire home in general..."
Ben and Sam looked at each other seriously, answering back with just as much hesitance after glancing back at their calico friend.
"Yes."

She walked for while in the rain her pelt getting soaked..she didn't care she had to find Chloe.She stopped when the smell became present as she peeked round the corner she saw Chloe and some other animals.She sat quietly and listen to their conversation(Bad dog)

Katana slipped across the street silently her little brown satchel straped to her waist as she mooved about the streets of china town as nothing more than a shadow. Tikki poked her head out of the bag " I think I like the bag more!" she piped loudly "sh!.... I just want to find somewhere we can hunker down for the night..." she said a drop of blood falling from her nose, but she wiped it away with the back of her paw quickly. The GCPD had thrown her out without even letting Chris see her, he would be furious if they actually told him the truth of what happened on that patrol... either way, the officers wont let her back now so she may as well find a new way to get food. Tikki spoke more quietly this time as Katana snuck down an ally " I know its troubling you, but there is no need to worry over it Chris will be fine, they will probably assign a newbie to him and he will be in trainning for a while and away from danger. " She said trying to ease her thoughts.

Chat Swished his tail as he trotted down the dark streets His bulky frame making his shadow look more intimidating than it should have been. None the less he rotated his ears and marked where he was told, and checked the cans he was in charge of finding a closed container of Chinese food. " Oh Boy! looks like I got a present to bring back!" He piped his tail wagging as he grabbed the little wire handle and began his trot back to the hideout. his ears alert as he listened to any sounds that may raise concern, his nose however was full of the smell of luke warm sesame chicken and fried rice.

Max sighed as he laid his head on his paws and watched the rain fall down from the shelter of the station a few mice and smaller critters gathering under the overhang to get out of the rain, but with this much rain it was unlikely they would get any big calls tonight which means he would be bored for most of the night. with another exaggerated sigh he rolled over onto his back looking at the world upside down. " I need something to do..." he whined
|Mink and Koda- China Town|
It was not often Mink was out on the town in the wee hours of the night, in fact it was unlikely she was out ever, however tonight was an exception. Koda stayed close to her heels watching out behind them as Mink's nose sifted through the greenery of a small city garden. A sling like cloth tied about her neck was already full of herbs and other greenery. " M-mom..." Koda cooed frightened " Yes young one?" she replied lifting her head and looking his direction " C-can we go home now?..." he shivered to which mink smiled softly " The darkness may conceal the things the sun makes known to us, but the darkness also hided us from the hing we fear that may wander into the light" she said not offering much condolence, but hearing her give one of her wisdom speeches seemed to put Koda at rest with his fear.
|Delta and Thomas- Tracking Minka|
Silent was not the way one would describe Delta's trek through BurlowBulls territory. The were not like the other groups who all came together when the need arose. Delta was a cruel dictator who kept power by fear, and the only ones who stood by his side were those as heartless as himself. And that's the way Delta wanted it, the only person to ever go against that and ruin his dictating utopia was that stupid little Vixen he wished he had gotten his paw across more than just her nose for her transgression. " Hey! Delta Mind slowing down So you don't lose your thief!?" he yelled holding onto deltas ear just barely. Delta Shook him off luckily into the vest that was draped around his neck like a sling as it was too small for him to wear. " Keep your mouth shut Rat! Or you'll be my snack " he growled
|Copper, Diamond and the Pups- Burlow abandoned warehouse|
Copper Laid on a exposed beam looking down over the few members that were there most huddled in little groups sleeping or at least pretending they were to avoid punishment, but Diamond Sat in the center of the floor starring at him condescendingly. " What do you want Di?" he said sitting on his haunches glaring down at her as the pups slept at her feet, but she didn't speak " DO you think that your above me still?" he asked with a smirk tilting his head in a sarcastic manner, but she spoke sternly and with an authority that made even him stop being sarcastic and sit a little straighter. " No, I don't need to think that I am above a cowered such as yourself... that fact is clear" he scoffed at her words, though he did not dispute them instead he chose a different approach. " Delta may be the leader of the Bulls, but he is too naive to manipulate his followers feelings.... me and you however, we are on a different level of leadership" Diamond did not waver in her stare, but she did respond in a way that would easily shut Copper Top Up for at least the rest of the night and allow the others to rest. " That may be, but its clear which one of us has more of a pull in power... tread carefully" she said pinning her ears back, and though he was physically placed above her she produced a look that would have made him feel as if he was the one being stared down at.
And If you all want to join the BurlowBulls that's fine ^.^ but for a bit of know ahead, Delta is the lead but is more like a figure head, Diamond is currently in charge truly, but copper is fighting to take that authority from her as he has claimed second in command from Delta, and is not nearly as cruel, so there is a bit of a divide among the other members.

Ringo and North
The next box was rather warm and inviting with the soft next made by many of mother birds that used it before him. For a single moment he felt normal, like a real bird until the cloth about his wing rubbed against his feathers reminding his disability. "Ringo?" The pigeon asked lookin over at the wad of fur that was his companion. Without stirring the ferret answered in a tired tone. They had found this box in a pigeon coop along a rooftop near China Town and decided it was better to rest than to get wet in the rain.
"What? Can't you see I'm sleepin'?" The ferret asked shivering some as he did. Why was the rain so cold? His fur just seemed to absorb every drop making it stick to his skin, then when the winds came he froze his butt off!
"N-nothing...I just can't sleep." The bird answered fluffing his wet feathers out some trying to warm up some.
"That ain't it, somethin's on your mind. Go on spit it out." Ringo yawned curling closer about himself. North wasn't one to speak much unless he saw something that caught his eye or when he was feeling flighty so when he called you out it was best to listen.
"It's just that I haven't been pulling my weight lately, I feel like I owe you. I just wanted to say that I'll try extra hard to find food and a permanent home tomorrow alright?"
"North, you have been pulling your weight. Not to be rude, you do any less and you might disappear."
"Very funny."

With their meeting long since finished, and the raging rainstorm calming into a soft shower, Chloe, Ben, and Sam bid each other goodbye. They split off towards their individual groups.
~Chloe~
Soft steps silent on the cold city cement, Chloe made her way from the alcove and into the towering skyscrapers of Gotham. She had a long journey back home to Ryker Heights, though it certainly didn't bother her. The general noise of the city would be forgotten in favor of listening for any potential threats such as humans or other, unfamiliar strays.
However it may be, it wasn't either of them she stumbled upon, but rather one of her own. Clik, a fighter for the Ryker Heights Hoodlums, was wetter than Chloe herself, letting the feline know she'd been out for quite a while and possibly even listening in on the conversation between herself and her old friends.
Chloe had quite a few option when it came to discipline. None were truly horrible, but they weren't pleasant either. Depending on how much the canine had heard, she'd either get off light or have extra duties placed in her schedule...
"Would you mind giving me an explaination as to why you're here, Clik?" Chloe raised an eyebrow, sitting down and curling her tail over her feet as she waited patiently for the other's answer.
