I stuck in generator, and whatever blue it has, does not go away at all, even if all the colors in generator is put to black.
He ends up looking like
why can I not change the blue?

If i'm correct I believe the blue is shading :P

So, cant change that, even on a wild? I dont usually have this problem on any other pets...and I wanted this lil guy to be black and gold...that blue is going to throw it all off >< Was a lovely find...but...plans may have to change for him :(

I've always seen shading like that on all ryo's :// It's kinda annoying at times

Living is right - Ryori's have a slightly blue tone to their shading.
Where literally every other sylesti is pure grayscale.
[shown wiht the ryos blue tone right next to it to emphasize how blue it is]
That's just the Ryori's shading, and you never see it on any other pet because no other pet has that.

Yep. As has been pointed out, the Ryori were done w/ a blue tone of shading rather than black.
It was done that way because, at the time, us and the artists went for a "ghostly" feel to them and that's what we did to accomplish that.
When they are Revamped down the road, I have no idea if it will stay or not - we will have to rexamine it.
