The Festival Shop is now opened and the Diamond Shop has now been stocked with Festival goodies!
Sylesti Brewing is now also available.
Until the official post is updated with full details, I'll give a quick rundown on Sylesti Brewing.
Sylesti Brewing will function similarly to Sand Sculpting from the Summer Festival (And Sylesti Garden from Spring Festival). The major difference comes in how the Brews (your pets) will 'grow' and progress.
Every hour, all active Brews will progress towards completion. However, each Brew's "Quality" will determine how much it progresses. There are four tiers of Quality:
So, if you keep your Brew at "Great" Quality the entire time, it will finish four times faster than a Brew that is kept at "Fair" Quality the entire time.
How do you keep a Brew at high Quality, you ask? By keeping it from having negative conditions. Every ~30 minutes, a Brew will need some adjusting by way of receiving a random Condition. Use your Brew Agents to counteract the Condition and keep the Brew in 'Good' condition.
Each time that you successfully use a Brew Agent to counteract a Condition, the Brew will improve in Quality. However, each time an hour passes with a neglected Condition, the Quality will decrease.
Additionally, each time a Brew Agent is successfully used, the Brew will gain progression. So the more Brew Agents you use, the faster it will progress - in addition to keeping the Quality high and having it progress even faster.
Lastly, if a Brew maintains a high enough quality throughout its progression to completion, it will receive a bonus. This is a bit hard to explain without just flat out stating numbers, which I don't want to do, but basically... each time an hour ticks and your Brew is at Great quality, the Brew gains bonus points. Additionally, each time you use a Brew Agent with the Brew at Great quality, the Brew gains a bonus point. At certain thresholds, the Brew can gain up to two bonuses.
These bonuses can either be an additional boost to its Base Stats or an extra Carried Trait.*
*Please note: These are not 100% finalized... The premise of the bonus will remain, but I may tweak the bonuses themselves or how they are awarded. I also plan on adding in a visible UI part for players to visibly see the progress a Brew has towards a Bonus.
We are still finalizing the Themed Pets for Sylesti Brewing, so I can't announce them yet. However, they should be finalized soon. Additionally, we will begin putting in the new Pet Traits, including the three Restricted Trait Sets, today/tonight.
As these things are finalized and put in, we will be sure to announce them. =)
