Does anyone have any breeding project advice for me please? I actually have no idea how to do breeding projects and would like some advice. How do you start? Are there ways that are easier than others? How do you get enough ones with traits that you want? Just any general advice would be much appreciated :)

If you don't mind a bit of reading, Xavion's Guide is probably the most comprehensive project breeding guide around. It's written around the idea of doing 6 visible projects, but you can use it to help you with any number of visibles. It's the guide I used to get started breeding my projects years ago ^.^

Xavion's thread is a great resource and I see it's been linked already. I also think it's worth pointing out that if you're starting with essence (I think it's the most straightforward way) you only need three sylesti to start, two male and two female works best.
A mistake I see a lot of people make when doing their first project is that they buy essence AND breed with sylesti who have the right traits but not the colours. Either of these methods is fine (breeding with random colours means using dye at the end and is appropriately called a 'dye project'), but doing both with the same project just messes everything up. The point of using essence is to get the colour from the start, and the point of using dye is probably more traits at the start and mixing them canceles the benefits of both.
