I think what my plan is, is to get a kelp with all the vis except the hair and then use the trait disruptors to graruntee so hopefully it should only take 2 disruptors

I think I like the Fairy hair too, so having 2 versions could be good. ^_^ However, if you're planning to use the Butterfly Fairy Kelpari Trait Disrupter to guarantee the hair Trait, you're going to need to use it on Kelpari with a visible in that slot and carries in the other slots with Butterfly Fairy Traits. The Disruptor will cannibalize a visible and put the restricted Trait in an open slot with no carries. To guarantee the hair, you need a carry in each of the body Gene and other 2 Mutation slots to make sure the Trait doesn't show up in those slots. Having the hair the only one visible will make sure you don't lose any progress in that slot by being cannibalized. :) But if you don't mind losing that Trait, it's okay as long as the visible is not in a slot with a different Butterfly Fairy Trait.
