It's ok, it's natural for newer players not to know things. Your egg will hatch soon, maybe up to a few days. To speed up the process, you can nurture it, which you do by clicking on its profile, then clicking on it's picture, then nurturing it, based on what it says at the top. For example, if it says: This sylesti is warm, then you click: cool it. If the sylesti is cold, click warm it. If it's restless, click turn it. And if the sylesti is dull, polish it. You can scroll den and look at the green bar that will have a percentage on it. That's how close your egg is to hatching. Other players can nurture your sylestis as well. So be patient, and your eggs will hatch in no time! :) Hope this helped.

Also, to let you know, here is how close your eggs are to hatching.
1st Egg: (Light Yellow with Dark Yellow Spots): 5%
2nd Egg: (Light Blue with Yellow Spots): 2%
3rd Egg: (Blue with Light Green Spots): 2%

Hi! You just have to wait for your egg to hatch. This took me about a week. Also, you may want to nurture your egg by clicking on it, and if the egg is cool, warm it. If the egg is too warm, cool it. If the egg is restless, turn it. If the egg is _______*Other*(I forgot but I think it is tarnished or rusty XD) polish it.
Hope this helps!

Hi there ^.^ Tickle covered most of it, but on average with no nurtures it takes an egg three days to hatch. Also It will boost stats depending on how you hatch it, or example if you let the egg hatch it will get a random bonus to either, strength, agility, intelligence, of dexterity. But if you help it hatch it gets a bolus to health.
Just a fun tid bit of information.

Also I'f you have other questions you need answered I'll be glad to help ^.^

One more thing to add to what other people have said: after an egg hatches (approximately 3 days) it's then a hatchling (cutest stage), then it becomes an adolescent and can be moved to your stable (I think about 7 days), and finally it will be an adult (can be bred and will be forced into stables/released if there's no room) at around 28 days.
