STOP HARASSING US

Once upon a time, there lived a beautiful young sylesti named Princess Sparkle Moon. She was a small, tiny little pink puffadore, and she lived in the stables of a thirteen-year-old girl called Emily. Now, Princess Sparkle Moon did not like her name. Though all the little puffadore in Emily's stables all played dress-up with bows and tiaras, Princess Sparkle Moon just wanted to frolic outside in the glorious warmth of the sun and the glittering light of the stars. She had been kept inside for her entire life, for Emily was sentimental and clung on to every sylesti that she had.

Every day, Princess Sparkle Moon gazed out of the window that the 25 sylesti of the tab 'Fluffy Unicorn Dust' lived in, staring mournfully through the painted boards. No matter how much she begged, Emily refused to allow her to go outside. But Princess Sparkle Moon knew she could survive in the wild Umbra Forest, for she loved the cool darkness and shade.

She did not believe that the fight between the heroes of Sylestia and the necromancers and all. Such a tiny sylesti could not make a difference in this cruel world, after all. But she knew that this sorry life within the cramped confines of Emily's stables, where sylestis often slipped into unconsciousness for weeks at times, would never compare to the lives of those in the wild, the adrenaline and the adventure.

The most adventure that she had ever experienced was rougly being shoved into the 'Fluffy Unicorn Dust' tab from the warmth of the hatchery, where the mothers often came to check on their egglings and hatchlings.

Every day, Princess Sparkle Moon saw Emily take her two level 12 qitaris out from the stables and out to explore. She saw their pastel-hued hooves kick up dust along the path, and Emily's blue-haired head disappear.

And when they came back, they held a bounty of old treasures and gold and glittering gems that Emily quickly squirreled away into a hoard in her room along with the black ravens and vorkid webbing she found on her travels.

That was when Princess Sparkle Moon saw a glimpse of movement from the window, a little delicate sylesti with fluttery red wings. She saw its curled body fly past the glass, and immediately jumped up to try and see.

But when she reached the window, she saw a piece of parchment float down. Immediately, she grabbed it with her paws.

Do not worry, it read. We'll be here to help you. Just wait, and you'll be free.

So Princess Sparkle Moon waited and waited and waited. She waited.... oh, five days. But in that time, Emily bought some equipment off a trader, and now her balance was at 0. Even her fairy mushrooms were sold.

Princess Sparkle Moon could see her ribs through her ragged pelt, for she had not been fed. She was malnourished at this point, on the brink of starvation, and Emily didn't seem to mind. Though she saw how the girl claimed that this wasn't her fault, she saw Emily dragging a crate full of tiny baby puffadores into the hatchery. The girl definitely had a problem with realizing that being unable to sustain the amount of sylesti she had taken on herself was abuse.

Princess Sparkle Moon decided that whoever 'they' were, they should probably come soon, or she would fall into the same deathlike sleep that she could see that all of her stablemates had fallen into.

But finally, a ray of hope.

The rickety door creaked open, and Emily poked her face through. "Princess Sparkle Moon, come here," she beckoned.

In front of the door, there stood a cloaked woman in blue.

"This is your new owner, Princess Sparkle Moon," Emily said.

Could this be her escape? The puffadore was too weak to walk.

Her new owner handed Emily a single gold coin, and then lifted up the sylesti.

"Thank you," she said softly.

And then the two of them were walking through the woods.

After a reasonable amount of time, the two came to a clearing.

"Here, you'll have to make a choice," the puffadore was told.

Three people were standing in front of her.

"Who are you?" Princess Sparkle Moon asked.

"We're the releasers of Sylestia. We release pets to the wild that yearn for adventure, or their owners cannot give them enough attention, or simply dislike a life of captivity," the one that had brought her from Emily said. "We're going to take you to the wild, but first, we'll allow you to use some of our dyes and a Philter of Amnesia to give yourself a new name. We'd love to see you more afterwards," she said.

So the puffadore used the dyes, and then turned to see everyone in the clearing.

"Thank you," she said. "But I must decline the philter. I can't part with my name."

"It's what we do," one of them said, nodding to acknowledge the choice of the puffadore, and then Princess Sparkle Moon, headed off into the wilderness for a long, fulfilling life of exploration.

Doesn't seem to be a reason that you would need to, your comments were still utterly unnecessary. Please refrain from responding further so we can use this thread properly.
