You didn't see anything that would answer to that question, but it was probable that this was one of the user of this dock, a human.

There was nothing else interesting arount the dock, the small path however was leading away from the sea where it slithered out of sight from behind a small hill where a few clumps of dryed grass were growing despite the unwelcoming environement.

You though you had hear a small melody hiden withing the noises but maby this was also part of the phenomenon.

((So sorry for not replying for a long time))

I blink and look around, listening to the wind howl. The hidden melody intrigued me, but I say nothing. I stand up with Silver in my arms and looked around again. Where do I go now?

The wood around keept making the melody, strangely enough, it seem as if the sound was changing place.

You follow the path until you reach the ruins of an encien town. There was maby fifteen to twenty houses that were visibly unkept for years by now and plants had start claming the area. Evry once in a while you could hear the creaking of a door as a small breeze from the sea disturbed it.

Outside of the surprisingly lush plants that were growing and a few small creatures scuring around there was no indication that anyone was living here anymore. It seem as if the villagers had leaves the place in a hurry to escape somthing, cloath were still hanging from where they were left to dry, small shops were still wide opens and in some houses plates were still on the tables. They didn't had the time to pack any of their belongings, this sudent move wasn't prepared.
