We should be able to delete a post on our thread, even if it isn't our post. And if we can delete threads, you could easily get rid of a old one so we would have so many pages of threads that haven't been posted on in a couple months.
I know this has been suggested already, but we really should have this!

I can see some merit to this, but I can also see such a thing being abused (and have seen it abused on other sites in the past). I'd like to see threads with no replies on it able to be deleted (because double posts do happen), as well as being able to delete a post on a thread if it is our own, and it is the last one in the thread (again, because double posting is a thing). Being able to delete whole threads or other people's posts, though? I would say no. I have, unfortunately, seen people abuse this on other sites in the case of auctions disappearing (so that the person running the auction wouldn't have to follow through when they didn't get the price they thought they deserved), or deleting posts that they didn't like, or were from people they didn't like (say a post that pointed out an infraction, or a bid on an auction from someone they didn't like, or even deleting evidence of a trade, like if one agreed to pay diamonds for a pet, or one pet for another). I do tend to think of our community as awesome and amazing, but having seen what can happen, I'm leery of giving full support to something like this.

I would love to see Krinadon and Faiona having the ability to delete threads and posts, though. That way, if something really needed deleting, they would be able to do so, and you could message or ping them to ask for a thread or post to be removed. Then the system couldn't be abused, and only things that really needed to be deleted would actually be deleted.
