She peeked outside of her dorm, a little creature sat there at the door beside hers. A large dra- no, that was a giant cat with dragon features, poked her head out of the door too.
She looked around, no one was there. Only the little creature. She closed the door, it would be no use to try to talk to it.

Nicole had heard there would only be one boy in the small group of students.
So remembering this, she found herself murmuring a line from War and Peace. "'Nothing is so necessary for a young man as the company of intelligent women.' Huh." Then she noticed his hard glare and lowered her eyes. Don't stare.
"No problem. I'll, uh, go to my, um, room now. Sorry for bothering you..." She heard Polaris in her head. You sound like a blithering idiot.

Malachi tilted his head much like Casper had but otherwise nodded slowly. "Yeah well good luck with that...?"
His blue eyes watched her with the cold glare but the creature on his shoulder simply waved with it's paw. Malachi took notice of the other girl who peeked out next to him but didn't pay her any mind.
'Nothing is so necessary for a young man as the company of intelligent women?' Malachi thought to himself with an internal smirk. 'I see... how interesting, Casper. You brought me an idiot.'
Casper glanced towards Malachi and snickered. 'You should really be nicer, Master Malachi. Your older sisters is also a woman.'
Internally sighing at the butler-like voice Casper had that he had forgotten 100% about, his head tilted back the other way as if thinking over some things.
"So are you just going to stand there?"
He finally asked poor Nicole.
